By Design: Inside the Hive

We've learned a lot from the hive.

Bees work together. Every single one contributes to something larger than herself. A hive isn't a collection of individuals doing their own thing — it's a family with a shared purpose.

A bee's role changes over her lifetime. She starts as a nurse, caring for the young. Then she builds comb, guards the entrance, and finally forages in the fields. She serves where she's needed, when she's needed.

The queen is cared for and provided for — not because she demands it, but because the hive knows her role matters. There's no resentment. Just provision.

And when the hive grows too full, they don't fight for space. They plan. They raise a new queen. They split — one family becoming two, both stronger for it.

Work. Service. Provision. Growth.

The hive has a lot to teach.
